Reflection

Calm is often misunderstood.

Some people assume calm means passive. Others believe calm means avoiding conflict or suppressing emotion.

In reality, clam is a strategy.

When your nervous system is regulated, the part of your brain responsible for reasoning, perspective, and thoughtful decision-making becomes accessible. This is when you can listen fully, think clearly, and respond intentionally.

When dysregulated, survival instincts take over. The bod interprets emotional tension as threat. Your focus narrows, and your reactions become faster, sharper, and less reflective.

This is why regulation matters before decision-making.

Clarity follows calm.

Truth Check-In

Your nervous system does not skyward distinguish between emotional stress and physical danger.
