What Changed When You Slowed Down?

Reflection
Throughout March, we explored a simple but powerful practice: Regulate First. Decide Second.
Not as a slogan, but as a lived rhythm.
We practiced noticing when urgency showed up in our bodies. We explored the difference between reacting quickly and responding thoughtfully. We considered how calm creates access to perspective, and how emotions—when listened to carefully—can guide us toward better understanding.
None of this was about eliminating emotion or delaying decisions indefinitely. Instead, it was about creating enough internal steadiness to see clearly before moving forward.
Often, the most meaningful shift is not dramatic. It is subtle.
A pause before replying.
A breath before responding.
A moment of reflection before committing.
Small moments of regulation can quietly reshape outcomes.
Truth Check-In
Real change often appears in the moments we choose steadiness over speed.
SPARK Question
Looking back on this month, when did slowing down help you see something differently?
Ignite Prompt
Take a few minutes to reflect on the past several weeks.
Consider one moment where you chose to pause rather than react.
What did you notice about your thoughts, your body, or the way the conversation unfolded?
Did your response change?
Did the outcome shift?
Did the situation feel different once you allowed space before deciding?
Write down one insight from that experience.
Awareness strengthens with reflection.
